Mission

The Urban Farm’s mission is to teach agricultural and environmental education to urban children, youth and their families.

Goals

• Teach applied animal and plant science to urban children, youth and their families through hands-on, experiential learning opportunities.
• Ensure that Denver children and youth will be stewards for agriculture and open space for generations to come.
• Ensure that Denver’s most highly urbanized children and youth have access to Colorado’s outdoor educational and recreational opportunities.
• Build a community in which children and youth can pursue healthy lifestyles where values of respect for people, animals, and the environment are reinforced.

Hours of Operation

TUF operates year-round:

• June through August, open for visitors, most Saturdays 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
  
• Open Monday - Saturday, all day for
  registered classes, workshops, and field trips
• Special community and fundraising events, clinics, horse shows, dog shows and trials. Other public activities are held throughout the year.
